Artist Profile: Luke Cormier
Luke Cormier is one of our senior tattoo artists and co-owner of 9th Gate Gallery.
Luke grew up in the small town of Stephenville on Newfoundland’s west coast, now calls Cape Breton home. Luke has always had a passion for drawing and the arts, and has turned that love into a very successful career as a tattoo artist.
Luke has created quite the social following under the name Mr. Sticker, creating very convincing “sticker” tattoos with beautiful bright colours and nostalgic themes. Aside from sticker tattoos, Luke specializes in Traditional, Neo-Traditional, and New School styles focusing on crisp lines and vibrant colours.
